The United States Section of the World Association for Waterborne Transport Infrastructure
The U.S. Section PIANC and PIANC International advance the field of navigation studies and the exchange of technical information on port and waterway issues with several scholarship programs. The objective of these scholarship programs is to encourage young professionals in the field of navigation by sponsoring competitive research and analysis studies with cash rewards, thereby promoting this research and the author to a wide network of colleagues in the PIANC organization.
