It’s that time of the year again! Are you a Young Professional under the age of 40? Submit your abstract for the prestigious PIANC De Paepe-Willems Award!

The De Paepe-Willems Award honors two former Presidents of PIANC. Robert De Paepe was President of PIANC for 17 years, from 1982 to 1999, and Professor Gustave Willems was President of PIANC for 26 years, from 1956 to 1982.

Contestants must be a Young Professional (under age 40) and must submit a paper on subjects in the fields of design, construction, improvement, maintenance, or operation of inland and maritime waterways (rivers, estuaries, canals, port approaches), ports, and of coastal areas.
