PIANC is home to Technical and non-technical Commissions that oversee important work executed by Technical Working Groups. Both the Commissions and Working Groups are comprised of experts from member countries who gather, analyze, and consolidate state-of-the-practice solutions.

Technical Working Groups are initiated and overseen by their respective Technical Commission. Dozens of Technical Working Groups are active at a time.
