PIANC USA offers continuing education opportunities via its webinars and conferences. Attend a PIANC USA event, and you could be eligible to earn PDHs!

What is a PDH?

PDH stands for Professional Development Hour. One PDH demonstrates the completion of one hour of continuing education.

Who needs PDHs?

PDHs are the continuing education credit used by Professional Engineers. Professional Engineers are licensed by state licensure boards. Most state licensure boards require some amount of continuing education to maintain a P.E. license, but these requirements vary by state.

Strengthening the Civil Engineering Profession through Collaboration

In July 2024, PIANC USA and Civil Engineering Certification, Inc. (CEC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance our collaborative efforts. This partnership aims to advance the civil engineering profession by recognizing each organization’s contributions in advancing the profession and promoting board certification as a means of professional growth.
